Ollie SilverNovember 4, 2022This set is visually stunning—it borrows the front and back cover designs from the OBC CD. Very nostalgic. Inside the bifold cover is a breakdown of the cast, choir, orchestra, stage managers, and more, as well as a list of the musical numbers split into their respective act on the left panel. The left panel also features quotes from from Mark Mancina, Julie Taymor, and Lebo M. The right panel lists the many producers and directors and the cast list. Both panels feature photographs of scenes from the musical. The records themselves have a bright yellow and black splatter coloring, though I’d say the “yellow” looks closer to a lime green or maybe a neon yellow as opposed to the golden yellow of the front cover. The records play beautifully and there were no physical flaws visible on the case/cover or records upon arrival. Excellent product and a truly fantastic addition to any TLK fan’s collection.
